Privacy Policy
Last updated 10 September 2026. This policy explains what we collect on digitalelio.com and why.
Who we are
This website is operated by Digital Elio LLC, 1500 Market St, Suite 1200, Philadelphia, PA 19102, USA. For any privacy question, write to admin@digitalelio.com or call +1-215-555-6576.
Information you give us
If you email us, call us or write to us, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, your contact details and the content of your message. We use it only to answer you and to keep a record of the correspondence.
The newsletter form
The signup form on our articles runs entirely in your browser. The address you type is checked for a valid format and displayed back to you on the same page. It is not sent to a server, not stored by us, and not shared with anyone. If we later operate an actual mailing list, this policy will be updated before it starts and consent will be asked for separately.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the date and time. This is used for security, troubleshooting and aggregate traffic measurement.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. One remembers your choice on the cookie notice so it does not reappear on every visit. Others may support anonymous analytics that tell us which articles are read. You can refuse non-essential cookies using the notice, and you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will continue to work.
Analytics
Where analytics are used, they are configured to report aggregate patterns — page views, approximate location at country or region level, device category — rather than to identify individuals. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site, such as our hosting and analytics providers, and only to the extent needed for that work. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Retention
Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for answering you and keeping a reasonable record, then deleted. Server logs are retained for a limited period in line with our provider's standard settings.
Your choices
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to admin@digitalelio.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights, including rights under California law.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
